Lemon Or Orange Sauce

|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Hot water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Lemon juice/1/2 cup orange juice||3 Tablespoon|
1. Combine the sugar with the cornstarch and the salt. Stir in the hot water and cook over low heat, or in the top of a double boiler over hot water, until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.
2. Stir in the fruit juice.
