Ham & Zucchini In Cheese Sauce
|Rice/Noodles||2 Cup (32 tbs) (4 servings)|
|Thinly sliced zucchini||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cubed cooked ham||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Cook rice or noodles conventionally while microwaving sauce.
Combine zucchini, onion and water in 2-qt casserole.
Microwave at High 4 to 7 minutes, or until zucchini is tender-crisp.
Let stand covered while making sauce.
Melt butter in 4-cup measure at High 30 to 60 seconds.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
Blend in milk.
Microwave at High 4 to 6 minutes, or until thickened, stirring every minute.
Stir in cheese.
Add ham and cheese sauce to zucchini.
Microwave at High 2 to 3 1/2 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
Stir mixture to redistribute sauce.
