Sausages In Tomato Sauce
|Pork sausages||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Large, peeled and diced|
|Tomatoes||4 , skinned and mashed|
|Mixed dried herbs||1 Teaspoon|
|Long grain rice||1 Ounce|
Grill or fry sausages for 20 min, until golden brown.
Fry onion in butter for 5 min.
Add tomatoes, herbs, sugar and rice, salt and pepper.
Simmer gently for 10 min or until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
Place in a shallow serving dish and arrange sausages on top.
