Rhubarb Sauce

Ingredients
  Rhubarb 2 Quart, chopped
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Chopped seedless raisins 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Brown sugar 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), firmly packed
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine the rhubarb, onion, raisins, sugar and vinegar.
Cook for about 25 minutes or until thick.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Add the salt and spices and cook for 5 minutes longer.
Pour boiling sauce into sterilized jars, leaving 1/8-inch head space.
Adjust caps and tighten to seal.
