Pork With Orange Maple Sauce
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Grated orange rind||2 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Maple flavored syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground rosemary||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Corn flour||2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat oil in pan, add onion, saute few minutes, stir in orange rind and juice, maple syrup and rosemary, pour over pork chops, mix well.
Stand several hours or refrigerate overnight.
Barbecue chops until tender, place marinade in pan, stir in blended cornflour and water, stir until the mixture boils and thickens.
Serve over the chops, topped with thick orange slices if desired.
