Spaghetti With Mushroom Sauce
|Whole wheat spaghetti||8 Ounce, uncooked|
|Canned no salt added whole tomatoes||14 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Fresh mushrooms||12 Ounce, thinly sliced|
|No salt added tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Grated carrot||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Red wine||2 Tablespoon|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Italian seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Prepare spaghetti as directed on package.
Rinse with warm water.
In 2-quart casserole, combine all ingredients, except spaghetti and Parmesan cheese.
Microwave at High for 10 to 17 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and flavors are blended, stirring after every 5 minutes.
Place spaghetti on platter.
Mix sauce over spaghetti.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
