Tomato and Wine Sauce

Ingredients
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), crushed
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Tomato paste 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped peeled tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Bay leaf 1 , crushed
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Basil 1 Teaspoon
  Dry white wine/Dry red wine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

1. Saute the onion and garlic in oil until soft but not brown.
2. Stir in all the other ingredients. Season to taste.
3. Cover and cook for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
