|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Confectioner’s sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Work the butter with a spoon or beat with an electric beater until light and creamy.
Then add the sugar gradually while continuing to work with a spoon or beat with an electric beater until fluffy.
Then beat in the egg and vanilla, and heat, while stirring, over boiling water, about 2 min.
Serve with hot steamed or baked pudding, Gingerbread.
