Baked Cauliflower With Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
  Cauliflower head 2 Pound (1 Large Head)
  Boiling salted water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Green pepper 1 Small, seeded and chopped
  Canned mushroom stems and pieces 2 Ounce (1 Small Can)
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon, melted
  Shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1⁄4 Pound (1 Cup)
  White sauce 21 Ounce (2 Cans Of 10 1/2 Ounce Each)
  Sesame seed 2 Tablespoon, toasted
Directions

Separate cauliflower into flowerets and cook in boiling salted water about 10 minutes or until barely tender; drain.
Saute onion, green pepper, and mushrooms in melted butter until onion is clear.
Alternate layers of cooked cauliflower, sauteed vegetables, shredded cheese, and white sauce in a greased 2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with sesame seed.
Bake, uncovered, in moderate oven (350°) for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Makes 8 servings.
