Thick Meat Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Minced onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Granulated sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Bottled thick meat sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Melt butter; add onion and simmer until tender.
Add remaining ingredients, and heat.
Baste broiled chicken with sauce, while broiling, keeping sauce warm.
Serve remaining sauce with broilers.
