Roasted Fresh Beets With Orange Sauce
|Orange juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Orange zest||1 Teaspoon|
|Minced rosemary/1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Unsalted butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Beets||8 , peeled and ends trimmed|
In a small saucepan combine the orange juice, chicken broth, orange zest, and rosemary.
Bring to a boil, stirring often until reduced by about half.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place the beets in the Deep Basket and rotate for 45 minutes or until very tender.
Reheat the Orange Sauce and whisk in the butter.
Pour over the beets to serve.
