Quick Brown Sauce
|Dry white wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shallots||2 , minced|
|Beef gravy||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sauce robert||1 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
|Dijon mustard||1 Teaspoon|
Simmer wine and shallots in small saucepan until most of wine has evaporated, about 10 minutes.
Stir in gravy cream, sauce, herbs and salt and pepper and let simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and blend in mustard.
