Cheeseburgers In Vegetable Sauce

Ingredients
  Hamburger patties 8 (Thin)
  Processed american cheese slices 4
  Vegetable soup 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Whole kernel corn with peppers 12 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Chili sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

In large heavy skillet, brown patties well on both sides; season lightly with salt and pepper.
Drain off excess fat.
Place cheese slices on four of the meat patties; top with remaining patties, making 4 hamburger-cheese stacks.
Combine soup, corn, and chili sauce.
Pour over and around meat.
Cover and simmer 10 min., stirring occasionally.
