Noodles with Crispy Meat Sauce
|Pasta/8 ounces packaged medium wide noodles||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Recipe)|
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cooked beef roast/Pork roast||2 Cup (32 tbs), slivered|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry basil||1 Teaspoon|
|Oregano leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Boiling salted water||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Tomatoes||2 , chopped|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Cut fresh pasta into medium-wide noodles about 10 inches long.
In a wide frying pan over medium heat, combine olive oil and butter.
Add meat and cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is crisp and browned (about 5 minutes).
Add parsley, basil, salt, oregano, and pepper.
Cook just until parsley begins to turn limp.
Cook noodles in a large kettle of boiling salted water until al dente (1 to 2 minutes for fresh noodles, or follow package directions).
Drain noodles and turn into a shallow serving bowl.
Spoon sauce over noodles and toss lightly.
Garnish the top with tomatoes.
Pass Parmesan cheese to sprinkle over individual servings.
