Porcupines In Tomato Sauce
|Ground turkey||10 Ounce|
|Uncooked converted rice||2 Ounce|
|Diced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Marjoram leaves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Thyme leaves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Tomato sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned chicken broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced fresh garlic||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In medium bowl thoroughly combine all ingredients for "porcupines"; shape into 8 equal balls.
Spray a 1-quart casserole with nonstick cooking spray and arrange turkey balls in casserole.
Sauce and Bake: In small bowl thoroughly combine all ingredients for sauce; pour over "porcupines." Cover casserole and bake for 1 hour, turning "porcupines" once during baking.
