Sweet Sour Shrimp Sauce
|Canned pineapple tidbits||9 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green pepper strips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Slowly stir in water, vinegar, and reserved pineapple syrup.
Bring to boiling: simmer about 5 to 7 minutes or till thick, stirring constantly.
Add pineapple and green pepper, simmer a few minutes longer.
