Fish Fillets In Tomato Sauce
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Green pepper||1 , cut into strips|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Canned stewed tomatoes||14 Ounce (1 Can, Undrained)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Dry red wine||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried sweet basil||1 Teaspoon|
|Fish fillets||1 Pound|
1. In skillet, saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in oil until tender.
2. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, basil, and salt. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat and cook uncovered about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Place fish in tomato mixture.
4. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
