Fish Steaks In Orange Sauce With Broccoli And Almonds
|Butter||1 Ounce (2 Tablespoon, 25 Gram)|
|Cornstarch||1 Ounce (Cornflour, 3 Tablespoon, 25 Gram)|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Pint (1 1/4 Cups / 300 Milliliter)|
|Grated orange rind||1|
|Fish steaks||20 Ounce (About 150 Gram/ 5 Ounce Each)|
|Water||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Flaked slivered almonds||2 Ounce (1/3 Cup, 50 Gram)|
Put the butter in a bowl and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the cornflour (cornstarch) and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the orange juice and cook for 3 minutes, whisking after each minute. Stir in the orange rind. Keep the sauce warm.
Put the fish steaks in a dish with the water. Add the broccoli and the almond slivers. Cover with vented cling film (plastic wrap) and cook for 4 minutes, rearranging once, until the fish is done and the broccoli is tender.
Pour the orange sauce over 4 heated plates, add the fish and garnish with the broccoli and almonds.
