Beef Burgers In Red Wine Sauce

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Small
  Minced beef 12 Ounce (350 Gram)
  Fresh white breadcrumbs 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Chopped parsley 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Oil 45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Canned homepride red wine cook in sauce 13 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Watercress sprig 4 (To Garnish)
Directions

Peel and finely chop the onion.
Mix together the onion, minced beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Divide the mixture into 8 and shape into burgers.
Heat the oil in a medium-sized pan and fry the burgers for 7 minutes until brown, turning once.
Drain off the oil, add the Red Wine Cook-in-Sauce, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve on rice or with creamed potatoes and garnish with watercress.
