Beef Burgers in Red Wine Sauce
|Minced beef||12 Ounce (350 Gram)|
|Fresh white breadcrumbs||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Chopped parsley||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Oil||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
|Canned homepride red wine cook in sauce||13 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Watercress sprig||4 (To Garnish)|
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Mix together the onion, minced beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Divide the mixture into 8 and shape into burgers.
Heat the oil in a medium-sized pan and fry the burgers for 7 minutes until brown, turning once.
Drain off the oil, add the Red Wine Cook-in-Sauce, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve on rice or with creamed potatoes and garnish with watercress.
