Pilgrim Kerry Sauce
|Pure maple syrup||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ginger||1 Teaspoon, ground|
|Cranberry||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Bring maple syrup, water, and ginger to a boil in a large heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cranberries.
Simmer until berries burst, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Transfer to a serving bowl, cover the surface of the mixture with plastic wrap (so a skin won't form), and let cool.
Refrigerate until serving time.
