Quick Bordelaise Sauce

Ingredients
  Carrots 2 , chopped fine
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Instant minced onion 3 Tablespoon
  Canned broiled sliced mushrooms 3 Ounce, drained (1 Can, 2/3 Cup)
  Cooking claret 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Beef gravy 1 Can (10 oz) (1 1/4 Cup)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cook carrots in butter till tender.
Add onion, mushrooms, and cooking claret.
Simmer uncovered about 5 minutes.
Add beef gravy, lemon juice, and monosodium glutamate; let simmer 5 minutes more.
