Chicken In Tomato Wine Sauce

|Chicken||3 Pound, cut into serving pieces, skinned, all visible fat removed (1 Chicken, 2 1/2 To 3 Pound)|
|Onion||1 , diced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|No salt added tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Fresh mushrooms||4 Ounce, sliced|
|White wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fresh parsley sprig||4 (For Garnish)|
Rinse chicken and pat dry.
Place all ingredients except mushrooms and wine in a stockpot over medium-high heat.
Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes.
Add mushrooms and wine and cook 5 minutes more.
Garnish with parsley.
