Apricot Walnut Sauce
|Apricot jam||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Orange rind||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Dark rum||4 Teaspoon|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
1. In a small saucepan over high heat, combine jam, water, sugar and orange rind. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Remove from heat. Stir in rum and walnuts. Serve warm over gingerbread.
