Herbed Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Onion 1 Large, finely chopped
  Green onions 3 , chopped
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), smashed
  White wine vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ketchup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lime juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chili sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Dry mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1 Teaspoon
  Basil 1 Teaspoon
  Oregano 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add both types of onions and garlic. Cook 5 minutes over low heat, without letting onions brown.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook sauce for 18 minutes.
