Double Meat Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Celery stalk 1 , diced
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), smashed and chopped
  Green onions 3 , chopped
  Large tomatoes 2 Pound, peeled, seeded and cubed
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped fresh thyme 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped fresh basil 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped fresh oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Lean ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground veal 1⁄2 Pound
  Tomato sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooked pasta 3 Cup (48 tbs), hot (4 To 6 Portions)
  Tabasco sauce 2 Drop
  Crushed red chilies 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Pinch
Directions

Heat half of oil in saute pan over medium heat. Add onion, celery, garlic and green onions. Cook 4 minutes over low heat.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, all seasonings and sugar. Mix well and bring to boil. Cook 18 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Heat remaining oil in frying pan over high heat. Add both ground meats and season well. Cook 7 minutes over medium heat.
Drain fat from cooked meat, then stir meat into tomato mixture. Add tomato sauce and season; mix well. Continue cooking sauce 35 minutes over low heat. Stir occasionally.
Serve over hot pasta.
