Sherried Cheese Sauce
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Microwave butter in a 4-cup glass measure at HIGH 30 seconds to melt.
Blend in flour.
Stir in milk.
Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes, stirring once or twice, or until thick and smooth.
Stir in seasonings, sherry, and grated cheese.
Microwave at HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Stir well to blend cheese into sauce.
Use as a topping for crepes or stir into hot cooked macaroni or noodles.
