Smooth Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  Canned tomatoes and juice 19 Ounce (1 can)
  Onion 1⁄2 Small, sliced
  Celery stalks 1
  Bay leaf 1
  Ground cloves 1 Pinch
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Soft butter 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar To Taste
  Cream 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Simmer the first six ingredients together in a saucepan for 10 minutes, then whisk in a smooth mixture of flour and butter.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Remove bay leaf.
Flavor with sugar and salt to taste.
Whiz in a blender until smooth.
Keep hot in a double boiler.
Stir in cream just before serving.
