Glazed Ham With Cranberry Raisin Sauce
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cloves||1 Dash|
|Bottled cranberry juice cocktail||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Seedless raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fully cooked ham slice||1 (1 inch)|
Mix sugar, cornstarch, cloves, and salt.
Add cranberry-juice cocktail, orange juice, and raisins.
Cook and stir till mixture thickens and comes to boiling.
Slash fat edge of ham slice at 2-inch intervals.
Insert whole cloves in fat if desired.
Broil ham slice over slow coals, about 15 to 20 minutes on each side.
Brush on glaze during the last 15 minutes.
Brush again with glaze just before serving.
