Jellied Fresh Plums With Golden Fresh Lemon Sauce
|Unflavored gelatin||2 Tablespoon (2 envelopes)|
|Cold water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Hot water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sliced plums||2 Cup (32 tbs) (fresh)|
|Golden fresh lemon sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
Soften gelatin in cold water.
Add hot water and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Stir in sugar and juices.
Chill until mixture is as thick as fresh egg whites.
Fold in sliced plums.
Turn into a 5-cup mold.
Chill until firm and ready to serve.
To serve, turn out onto a serving plate and serve with Golden Fresh-Lemon Sauce.
