Apple Raisin Sauce
|Apple juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Cold water||2 Tablespoon|
Peel apples, if desired; core and coarsely chop.
In a large saucepan, combine apples, juice, raisins and cinnamon over medium-high heat.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, or until apples are tender.
Meanwhile, combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
Add to apple-raisin mixture and cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until thick and smooth.
