Spiced Whole Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water/Apple cider 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whole cloves 4
  Cinnamon stick 1 , broken
  Ginger root/Few all spice berries 1
  Fresh cranberries 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Directions

Simmer the first five ingredients together, covered for 10 minutes.
Strain and add washed cranberries.
Simmer covered 5 or 6 minutes or until they begin to pop.
Lift out berries with a perforated spoon and boil the juice uncovered until reduced and thickened.
Pour over berries and chill.
