Chocolate Sauce Pudding

Ingredients
  Butter 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Milk 3 Fluid Ounce (75 Milliliter)
  Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
  Self raising flour 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
  Caster sugar 6 Ounce (175 Gram)
  Cocoa powder 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Hot water 15 Fluid Ounce (425 Milliliter)
For topping
  Brown sugar 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
Directions

Put the butter and milk in a saucepan and heat until the butter has melted.
Stir in the vanilla.
Sift the flour, sugar and cocoa into a bowl, then beat in the milk mixture.
Pour into a deep, well-greased 1 1/4 ./ 2 pint ovenproof dish.
Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the mixture, then carefully pour over the hot water.
Put into the oven preheated to moderate (180°C/350°F or Gas Mark 4) and bake for 45 minutes.
