Praline Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Null)
  Confectionery sugar/Null 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Null)
  Maple syrup/Null 2 Tablespoon (Null)
  Water/Null 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Null)
  Rum/Null 1 Teaspoon (If Desired)
  Rum flavoring/Null 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Null)
  Finely chopped nuts/Null 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Null)
Directions

Heat butter over medium heat until golden brown..
Cool.
Gradually add sugar, mixing until smooth.
Stir in syrup and water.
Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute.
Cool slightly.
Stir in rum and nuts.
