Vegetables With Horseradish Sauce
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Prepared horseradish||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), minced|
|Broccoli flowerets||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Carrots||1 1⁄2 Pound, scraped and diagonally sliced|
Combine first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until hot.
(Do not boil.) Set aside, and keep warm.
Arrange broccoli flowerets and carrot slices in a vegetable steamer over boiling water.
Cover and steam 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Serve vegetables with sauce.
