|Honey/1/2 cup sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Arrowroot||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh / Thawed Frozen)|
|Almond extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
In a small saucepan, bring honey or sugar and the 1 cup water to a boil.
Mix arrowroot with the 1 tablespoon water.
Stir into honey water.
Cook and stir until cherries begin to soften and mixture thickens slightly.
Add the almond extract.
Serve warm or cold.
