Cherry Sauce

Ingredients
  Honey/1/2 cup sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Arrowroot 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 1 Teaspoon
  Cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh / Thawed Frozen)
  Almond extract 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

In a small saucepan, bring honey or sugar and the 1 cup water to a boil.
Mix arrowroot with the 1 tablespoon water.
Stir into honey water.
Add cherries.
Cook and stir until cherries begin to soften and mixture thickens slightly.
Add the almond extract.
Serve warm or cold.
