Fresh Tomato Sauce
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Green bell peppers||1⁄2 , sliced (Capsicum)|
|Canned peeled tomatoes||14 Ounce, chopped (440 Gram)|
|White wine||4 Ounce (1/2 Cup Or 125 Milliliter)|
|Dried mixed herbs||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
1. Heat oil in a saucepan and cook onion, garlic and capsicum (pepper) for 4-5 minutes until onion softens. Stir in tomatoes and wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add herbs and season to taste with pepper. Simmer for a further 20 minutes or until sauce reduces.
