Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Green bell peppers 1⁄2 , sliced (Capsicum)
  Canned peeled tomatoes 14 Ounce, chopped (440 Gram)
  White wine 4 Ounce (1/2 Cup Or 125 Milliliter)
  Dried mixed herbs 1 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Heat oil in a saucepan and cook onion, garlic and capsicum (pepper) for 4-5 minutes until onion softens. Stir in tomatoes and wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add herbs and season to taste with pepper. Simmer for a further 20 minutes or until sauce reduces.
