Roasted Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  Ripe plum tomatoes 20 , cut in half (seeded)
  Olive oil 3 Tablespoon (divided)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fresh basil 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), minced
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 450°F.
Toss tomatoes with 1 tablespoon oil and salt.
Place tomatoes, cut sides down, on nonstick baking sheet.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until skins are blistered.
Cool.
Process tomatoes, remaining 2 tablespoons oil, basil and pepper in food processor until smooth.
