Maple Butterscotch Sauce

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), packed
  Maple syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Light cream/Top milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Put sugar, syrup and salt in saucepan.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Put over moderate heat and bring to a boil.
Boil 2 minutes, stirring to keep from burning.
Remove from heat and add butter, stirring until melted.
Stir in cream.
