Carob Sauce

Ingredients
  Carob chips 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Half and half/Milk or coffee 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine carob, salt, and liquid.
Heat to boiling and simmer gently, stirring, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Serve hot or cold.
