Pasta With. Cream Sauce's picture
  Bowtie 16 Ounce (1 Package)
  Red onion 1 Small, chopped
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), minced
  Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
  Chicken broth 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Minced basil 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Minced oregano 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Heavy whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.
Stir in the broth, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; cook for 8 minutes or until reduced by about half.
Stir in cream.
Cook, uncovered, 8-io minutes longer or until sauce is reduced to 1-1/4 cups.
Drain pasta; toss with sauce.
