Pasta With. Cream Sauce
|Bowtie||16 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Red onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), minced|
|Olive oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Chicken broth||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Minced basil||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Minced oregano||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Heavy whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.
Stir in the broth, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; cook for 8 minutes or until reduced by about half.
Stir in cream.
Cook, uncovered, 8-io minutes longer or until sauce is reduced to 1-1/4 cups.
Drain pasta; toss with sauce.
