Quick Sauce Bordelaise

Ingredients
  Onions 2 Small
  Mushrooms 6
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Dry white wine 7 1⁄2 Ounce (1 1/2 Gills)
  Stock 7 1⁄2 Ounce (1 1/2 Gills)
  Tomato puree 1 Tablespoon (Or Paste)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Chop onions very finely, slice mushrooms.
Saute in a little butter until lightly browned.
Add wine and stock and simmer until reduced to 1/2 pint of liquid.
Stir in tomato puree or paste; season to taste.
