Mahi Mahi with Lemon Sauce
|Mahi mahi||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Seasoned salt||To Taste|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sliced almonds||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Fresh lime juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated ginger||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon (finely grated)|
You begin with cleaning the fish.dry it & cut it into pieces of your choice.Sprinkle salt on the fish & coat it with flour,do not use too much of flour to coat the fish.Spread out nuts in a dish & beat eggs & water together in another dish.Once the eggs are beaten well roll in the flour coated fish & sprinkle nuts on the fish(you can also avoid using nuts,if you think that you will prefer the dish without it.).
In a pan heat both oil & butter,gently place the coated fish in the pan & cook it on medium heat till it turns golden brown on both sides.
Heat a sauce pan,add butter to it.When the butter melts,add lemon juice & ginger to it.Let it cook for a while,not for too long because then the butter will burn & lemon juice will dry up.
Place the fried fish on a serving dish & pour the lemon sauce over it.
