Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  Tomatoes 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Chopped basil 8 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Vegetable stock/Water / tomato juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Olive oil/Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Peel the tomatoes by plunging them into boiling water, leave them for 1 minute, plunge them into cold water, then peel off the skins.
Put the remaining ingredients, except the oil, into a large saucepan and stir well.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then cover, reduce the heat and simmer for 40 minutes.
Add the oil and remove the sauce from the heat.
