Vanilla Flavored Hard Sauce
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted icing sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg white||1 , unbeaten|
Cream butter until soft.
Gradually blend in icing sugar.
Beat in egg white and stir in vanilla.
Put in serving dish, sprinkle with nutmeg, and chill well before serving.
