New Orleans Baked Bananas With Orange Sauce

Ingredients
  Bananas 2
  Grated orange rind 1 Tablespoon
  Honey 1 Tablespoon
  Fresh orange juice 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Unsalted butter 1 Teaspoon, cut into 4 pieces
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Cut 4 pieces of foil, each 4 x 6 inches.
Peel the bananas, cut them in half lengthwise, and place each half on a foil rectangle.
In a small bowl, mix the orange rind, honey, orange juice, and vanilla extract, and spoon over the banana halves.
Top each half with a piece of butter.
Fold over the foil once and crimp the ends to seal.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 5 to 8 minutes; if the bananas are really ripe, they will cook in about 5 minutes.
