Quick Madeira Sauce
|Chicken broth||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) (Homemade / Commercial Low Sodium Variety)|
|Madeira/Port wine||6 1⁄3 Tablespoon (1/3 Cup Plus 1 Tablespoon)|
Combine broth and 1/3 cup of wine in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat and reduce rapidly to 1 cup.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with remaining tablespoon of wine.
Stir mixture into sauce.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
