Bananas In Ginger Sauce
|Very ripe bananas||8 Medium, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch rounds|
|Powdered ginger||1 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Arrange half the banana slices decoratively on serving platter.
Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon ginger over bananas.
Arrange remaining slices on top and sprinkle with remaining ginger.
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
Cook 8 to 10 minutes.
Pour syrup over bananas and chill before serving.
