Stuffed Apple In Lemon Sauce
|Cloves||4 , powdered|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Whipped cream/Cottage cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Walnut halves||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped dates||125 Gram (6 Tablespoon)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Glazed cherries||2 Tablespoon|
Wash, peel and core apples.
Combine all ingredients for stuffing.
Stuff apples with this stuffing.
Arrange apples in a pan.
Pour boiling water over them.
Place the pan on medium heat and cook gently till apples are tender.
Carefully turn the apples.
Cover and cook till whole apples are tender.
Carefully drain and remove apples to a deep serving dish.
Blend sugar and cornflour with 2 tablespoon water.
Add it to strained water.
Place it on fire and bring to boil, stirring constantly until sauce is thick and smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add lemon juice.
Pour over apples in the dish. (The sauce can be tinted with desired colouring).
Garnish with whipped cream, nuts and cherries
