Honey Upside Down Cake With Honey Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream together the butter and honey; add egg and beat until smooth.
Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
Bake in heavy skillet at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes.
Turn upside-down cake onto a large platter.
This may be served hot or cold with sauce made of 1/2 cup of honey combined with 1/2 cup butter, heated.
1 frequently use 1/4 cup light brown sugar and 1/2 cup honey in skillet instead of proportions given above.
