Oysters In Tangy Bbq Sauce
|Oysters in half shells||24 (Use Fresh Ones)|
|Catsup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||6 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Hot pepper sauce||8 Drop|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
Combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring often.
Spoon sauce over oysters.
Place oysters in their half shells on barbecue grill above an even bed of glowing coals, or place to one side where the heat is not as intense.
Heat the oysters about 3 minutes or until the sauce sizzles.
